    2026 Shabbaton Family Interest Form

  • We are thrilled to return to Camp Ramah for our 2026 Schechter Shabbaton!

Our Shabbaton interest forms are the first step to Shabbaton registration. All forms must be completed by Sunday, March 8. No payment is required at this time.

In addition to providing the names and ages of all family members attending the Shabbaton, families must rank their preferred housing options. To learn more about the housing options, please click here.

In order to maintain a strong community feel, all students who wish to attend the Shabbaton must be accompanied by at least one adult in their family.

Once our registration window closes, our team will work diligently to accommodate as many families at the Shabbaton as possible. While a wait list may be necessary, please note that we have successfully accommodated families from our waitlists in the past two years. We will do everything we can to maximize Shabbaton attendance.

If there is high demand for select housing options (Guest House rooms, heated private rooms with private baths), priority will be given to those who have not yet experienced these spaces. Families will be assigned to housing options and sent payment links by members of our team by early April and will then have 48 hours to complete their registration. Links are non-transferable.

If your ability/desire to attend the Shabbaton has changed, an invitation will be extended to the next person on the list. Once payment is made, your family’s spot will be secured at the 2026 Shabbaton. Thank you in advance for your partnership as we work through this new registration system together!

  • Family Information

This section will ask specifics about the number of people in your family who plan on attending the Shabbaton. Please note that we ask for different numbers for adults, kids in Kindergarten-Grade 8, kids 15 months-Pre-Kindergarten and for kids under 15 months of age. This is because Shabbaton pricing is differentiated based on these age groups. Shabbaton pricing is set to cover all Shabbaton expenses while remaining affordable to families. Pricing is inclusive of housing for two nights, five meals (Friday dinner; Saturday breakfast, lunch and dinner; Sunday breakfast and lunch) and unlimited snacks. All-inclusive meal Pricing for the weekend is as follows: $95 for guests 14+$85 for guests Kindergarten-Grade 8$50 for guests 15 months-Pre-Kindergarten. There is no charge for meals for children under 15 months
  • Housing

Housing Pricing is inclusive of a 2 night stay. Housing Pricing will be added to our all-inclusive meal pricing to calculate your family's registration costs. Please note that linens and towels are NOT provided unless you are staying in the Guest House. Please keep in mind that ALL spaces are CAMP spaces. Beds and bathrooms may feel rustic, but present an authentic camp experience! Students in grades 4-8 will have the opportunity to sleep in a shared bunk with their peers under the supervision of high-school counselors. Students opting into this experience will need to abide by the expectations of the bunk (staying in the bunk after lights out, being respectful of counselors, etc.). Please indicate below if your 4th-8th grader will be sleeping in a bunk with their peers.
  • Count Me In!

Our Shabbaton is ONLY possible with the partnership between our parent community and our staff. Unlike a family camp or holiday camp that is fully staffed with specialists, counselors and program coordinators; the Schechter Shabbaton is a labor of love between a small number of Schechter staff and parent volunteers. With each adult at the Shabbaton taking responsibility for running a game for kids, preparing for a program, taking a leadership role in tefillah, helping build community amongst parents and/or helping with a myriad of other tasks—our Shabbaton program is that much stronger. During the Shabbaton, each family will be assigned to 'toranut group' during a particular meal time over the course of the weekend. Toranut (service) groups will help ensure that families are clearing their tables as requested by Camp Ramah so that their staff can easily clean up/turn over the space for the next meal. We encourage all family members to participate in toranut! It is a great way to engage your kids!In addition to your assigned toranut group meal time, we ask that each adult attending the Shabbaton assume an additional volunteer role(s). Please use this space to check all areas that the adults in your family would be willing to step-up and help our program. Our Shabbaton co-chairs will reach out as our program planning gets underway to confirm all roles.
